The AK-47 GL is a VIP automatic Assault Rifle in Stranded on Earth: The First Strike. This is a really great all-rounder weapon that can be used for taking out hordes with the GL, or killing about 2 or 4 zombies with just one mag.

The AK-47 is a gas-operated, select-fire assault rifle that was developed by the Soviet Union in 1949. It is chambered for 7.62x39mm ammunition, and for it's time was the most effective assault rifle due to the ammunition used and how quickly it was able to dish out a full magazine, resulting in devastating damage to it's targets. Unlike 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition that was design to maim but not to kill, the 7.62x39mm ammunition was designed to kill.
This particular model of AK-47 appears to be one of the earlier models that was later modified to have an attached grenade launcher. It is unknown where it came from, or who crafted such a destructive beauty...
