Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What can I do in Stranded On Earth: The First Strike?

A: There are many activities to do in the game, which includes defending yourself from the hordes of the undead using firearms and explosives, building a shelter to improve self-protection, and preparing yourself for the next incoming wave of ravenous undead.

Q: How do you buy weapons or build things?

A: On the left side of your computer screen, you should see a small button on the UI that is titled, Shop. Clicking that will open up the Shop GUI. Move the slider at the top around to look at the various categories available. Different types of firearms, like Pistols and Rifles are found in their respective categories, and stuff used to build shelters are found in the Buildables category. Buildables purchased appear in your inventory as tools, which you can pull out, and click to place just in front of where you stand.

Q: Help! The game is really slow, or I can't join the game at all!

A: Most players have issues with connectivity, as the majority of users on the internet have basic subscriptions with their Internet Service Provider, or ISP. The easiest way to lower latency is to plug in an Ethernet cable and use a wired connection if you're using Wi-Fi. For more information about latency, click here.

Q: How do I become an Admin?

A: Administrative power is earned through being involved with the development of the game. Asking for administrator is a surefire way to ensure you will never become one, as it can indicate you aren't ready for it.

Q: What are the rules of the game?

A: You can find the rules here, or on the community discord (nZQa3Dz) and trello.
